1. Are you insured?
Yes, we are. Covered by Pet Care Insurance. Our pet sitting business carries pet sitter insurance to help protect both our clients and the animals in our care during scheduled services.
2. Do you require a deposit to book services?
Yes. A 50 percent deposit is required to secure all bookings. This ensures your requested dates and times are reserved exclusively for your pets. The deposit is applied toward the total cost of services and helps protect our schedule from last-minute cancellations.
3. Do you require a service agreement?
Yes. New clients may be required to sign a service agreement outlining policies, responsibilities, and expectations before services begin. This protects both the client and the pet sitter.
4. When do I pay? Do you require a deposit? Cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings. This ensures your requested dates and times are reserved exclusively for your pets. The deposit is applied toward the total cost of services and helps protect our schedule from last-minute cancellations. Remaining Payment is required the day of last service is provided.
5. How do you accept payment?
We accept payment by Cash app, Venmo, Cash or Check.
6. What is our cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service to receive a refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled visit may result in the deposit being non-refundable due to the reserved time in our schedule.
7. Do you board dogs in your home?
Depending upon your dog's size and age we can take dogs for overnights with us. Check with us when inquiring about dates of service.
8. Do you take last minute requests?
For new clients, two weeks is needed to allow for enough time to schedule the meet and greet.
8. Do you stay overnight?
Yes! Overnight visits are subject to schedule availability. A meet and greet is required prior to confirmation.
9. Are you responsible for damages caused by pets?
Pet owners are responsible for any damage their pets may cause to property, people, or other animals during the service period
10. Do you guarantee specific visit times?
While we do our best to honor requested time windows, visit times may vary due to traffic, weather, emergencies, or other scheduled clients. We will always ensure pets receive the agreed number of visits each day.
11. What if my pet becomes sick during service?
If a pet becomes ill, the sitter will contact the owner immediately. If the owner cannot be reached, the sitter may transport the pet to a veterinary clinic. All veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the pet owner.
12. What happens if payment is late?
Payment is expected before or immediately upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, late fees may apply. Continued non-payment may result in the balance being sent to collections or pursued through small claims court as permitted by law.
